FAQs

CLINIC FAQs

  • Naturopathy is a healthcare system that encompasses both evidence-based research and traditional philosophies. Naturopaths provide individualised care to identify and address the underlying cause of illness or disharmony within the body. Treatment can include a combination of nutritional and herbal medicines, dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

  • Your first appointment includes an extensive and thorough examination of your current and past health symptoms, an evaluation of your dietary and lifestyle habits, and a comprehensive assessment of any recent pathology tests you may have undergone. The 75 minute evaluation allows your practitioner to get to know your various bodily systems and functions, and to explore how we can help you back to wellness. This holistic approach enables us to connect all the intricate pieces of your unique health puzzle. We kindly request that you bring any recent blood test results and a list of your current medications and supplements. Following the consultation, you will receive a detailed and personalised treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Additionally, you have the option to include Food Intolerance testing as part of this consultation (Investment $220 Consult + $293 testing cost, subject to potential changes in external supplier charges).

  • Our team is dedicated to providing support across a wide range of conditions, including skin concerns, promoting digestive wellness, addressing nervous system issues such as stress, anxiety, low mood and burnout, managing fatigue-related conditions, addressing endocrine and hormonal imbalances, tackling metabolic disorders and addressing immune dysfunction.

HERBAL TONIC FAQs

  • All tonics are hand blended by Shannon Stokes in our clinic dispensary (Paddington, Brisbane).

  • Most tonics are once a day and taken in the morning. Your specific dosage and times will be located on your label.

  • Put your recommended dose into the supplied shot cup. And top the cup with water as the flavour will be strong. Have a big drink of water next to you for after. You can also add a little juice or a few sips of juice after, which can really make all the difference. Another trick to help soften the experience is have a mint or piece of fruit after to help with any after taste.

  • Lets be real, these are not always yummy, but they contain no artificial sweeteners or flavours, so you are tasting real, potent herbs. You can choose to take your tonic straight up and follow with some water, or mix your dosage with a small amount of juice or water.
